Community Health Care Events in Virginia

Dear Partners Members, Guests of Partners’ & Healthcare Providers,

On behalf of the Partners Board of Directors and the Symposium Committee, we invite you to join us for the 5^th Annual Partners’ HealthCare Symposium.  Our major Sponsors continue their support as VCU and HCA HealthCare Systems have once again teamed up with Partners in HealthCare to bring an exciting event.  On May 29^th at The Jefferson Hotel, we will present “Leading Change in the New Age of Accountability”.  You may have been a generous supporter of our Partners' Programs or the Partners’ HealthCare Symposium in past years and we hope to see you again this year! 

We have a wonderful program planned.  All 3 Speakers touch on different areas we will and can effect change in these challenging times in HealthCare.  This year we will introduce Poster Presentations that will be submitted to a panel; for approval by VCU & HCA.  These presentations will be available for viewing before we get started with the main event; Lunch and our featured Speakers.  We will end the days’ presentations with a panel discussion and Q & A from our attendee’s before we adjourn to the Rotunda for our Reception and more networking.  CEU’s will also be offered again this year for those participates requiring them.  

Ticket prices for this event $50.00 Partners Members and or Guests; Hospital Employees $25.00.  To Register; please email your request and we will contact you for your credit card information and provide your receipt by email. Transfers can be made, however no refunds.  Purchase of ticket allows agreement of your photo to be used in future Partners event marketing. Keynote:

Sorrel King, the nationally renowned patient safety speaker and author  of Josie’s Story: A Mothers Inspiring Crusade to Make Medical Care Safe will share her story  and review the progress in changing and  improving patient safety across the country.

Dr. Kyle Allen is the Vice President of Clinical Integration for Riverside Health System and serves as the Clinical Chief of Geriatrics and Lifelong Health.  As chief, he is the medical lead for the care of an unprecedented aging population. Dr. Allen works to improve aging related customer service and care coordination as patients transition between  health care services. 

Doug Moran  is an award-winning and best-selling author  who believes fervently that everyone has the capacity to be a leader. His work as an executive coach consultant, trainer, and motivational speaker  has assisted  leaders from around the world by fostering the skills and competencies to master change and   achieve their goals.

Dr. Clifford V. Morris will serve as the moderator for the symposium and lead a panel discussion with speakers/attendees. Dr. Morris is a practicing physician in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Cardiology.
